Candle Care & Burning Tips

How should I burn my candle the first time?
For the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the vessel. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn going forward.

How long should I burn my candle at a time?
We recommend burning your candle for 2–4 hours at a time. Avoid burning for longer than 4 hours to maintain wick and fragrance quality.

Do I need to trim the wick?
Yes! Trim the wick to about ¼” before each burn. This helps prevent soot and keeps the flame at a safe, steady height.

Why is my candle tunneling?
Tunneling happens when a candle isn’t burned long enough for the wax to fully melt across the surface. A longer burn on your next use can usually fix this.

How do I safely put out my candle?
We recommend gently snuffing the flame or dipping the wick into the melted wax, then straightening it for the next burn. Avoid blowing it out to reduce smoke.

When should I stop burning my candle?
Discontinue use when about ½” of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel to prevent overheating.

How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 2–4 business days.

Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! Local pickup is available at our Fishers, Indiana studio. You’ll see the option at checkout if it applies to your order.

What is your return policy?
Unused candles in their original condition may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Custom, personalized, and sale items are final sale.

What if my order arrives damaged?
